Sapphist Writers is a network of lesbian and bisexual women in the East Midlands who write or have a desire to write. The only requirement for membership is that your identity as a woman writer places you outside of mainstream heterosexual identity.
We meet in Nottingham every month, but we are also internet-based and share our work and feedback online. You don’t have to attend meetings to participate.
Meetings are usually held on the second Monday of the month at Nottingham Women's Centre from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Contact us for full details. Please note that due to the Easter Monday bank holiday, the meeting for April 2012 will be held on 16 April.
We're about enjoyment, support, sharing our work and ideas, developing creativity, and embracing diversity. This blog gives us a chance to showcase our writing and activities to a wider audience.
